Two temperatures, one goal: the right shape

Plate forming turns flat stock into curved, contoured, and dished geometry — the heads, cones, and segments that close vessels and shape structures. The choice of temperature drives the result. Hot forming lets us move heavy sections and tight radii without cracking, relaxing the material so it takes deep draws and complex contours. Cold forming, working the plate at ambient temperature, holds tighter tolerances and a cleaner surface where the finished dimension is critical.
