Custom Forging

Forged Flanges

Forged flanges in carbon, alloy, and stainless steels — a range of pressure classes and facing types for the piping, pressure, and structural connections that have to hold.

A connection is only as good as its flange

A flange is the joint that makes a piping or pressure system serviceable — and the point where a weak connection shows up first. Forging a flange rather than cutting it from plate gives it continuous grain flow around the bolt circle and through the hub, so it resists the bolt loads, gasket seating, and pressure cycling that a flanged joint sees over its life.

MTS Forge produces forged flanges in carbon, alloy, and stainless grades across a range of pressure classes and face types. From standard configurations to flanges engineered to a customer print, every one is forged sound, finished in-house, and documented under our ISO 9001:2015 quality system with full material traceability.

Why specify a forged flange

Forged grain flow

Continuous grain around the bolt circle and hub resists bolt load and pressure cycling.

Pressure classes

Produced across a range of classes to match the service your system is rated for.

Face options

Raised, flat, and other facing types machined to the sealing standard you require.

Standard or to print

Common configurations or fully custom flanges engineered to your drawing.

Corrosion-resistant grades

Stainless and alloy options for corrosive, hot, or demanding environments.

Certified quality

Every flange forged sound and documented under ISO 9001:2015.
