Closed Die Forgings

Shown in the image are two closed die forgings manufactured using Monel K-500, a highly durable and corrosion-resistant material. Closed die forging processes offer cost-saving benefits by minimizing the need for pricey raw materials and decreasing machining expenses, which ultimately results in reduced unit costs for production.

Special Forging

Special forgings in 316-L Stainless for Section III applications are meticulously crafted to adhere to stringent industry standards. Our comprehensive Quality Assurance Program encompasses Mil I 45208, NCA 3800, and Mil Q9858, ensuring top-notch precision and reliability throughout the manufacturing process.

Upset Forgings, Rings & Cylinders

Upset forgings, rings, and cylinders can be produced in nearly all grades available in the market. The maximum forging diameter for these components is 26 inches, with a maximum weight capacity of 1500 pounds for each piece.

Hot & Cold Plate Forming

At MTS, we place strong emphasis on our expertise in manufacturing hot and cold formed plates. Leveraging our internal capacity for tooling design and development enables us to create a diverse range of shapes efficiently and at a competitive cost.

Flanges

MTS is fully capable of manufacturing various types of flanges up to 14 inches in size. The majority of these flanges are currently being produced for usage in the commercial nuclear sector.
